Does the other person need an app?
No. A tap or scan opens your page in their browser. Saving your contact uses the phone's built-in contacts, and leaving their details is a short form on the same screen.

What WiseTap is, how long it takes, and what you need to begin. Short version: a browser and two minutes.
No. A tap or scan opens your page in their browser. Saving your contact uses the phone's built-in contacts, and leaving their details is a short form on the same screen.
No. Your page works from a QR code, a lock-screen web card, your email signature or a plain link. Add an NFC card or tag whenever you like; it attaches to the page you already have.
About two minutes for a page you can hand out: name, photo, role, a few links and a theme. Adding video, forms and the rest can wait until you have a spare evening.
Yes. The editor, share kit, contacts and insights all work in a mobile browser, and you can add WiseTap to your home screen as an app. Nothing needs a desktop.
One page, eight blocks, unlimited accessories (cards, keychains, tags), every free block type, the full share kit (NFC, QR, vCard, lock-screen card, email signature, video-call background), a contact form, a subscribe form and 28 days of insights. Free is the product, not a trial. Upgrade when you need more pages or more than eight blocks.
See what every plan includesFree includes one page. Every keychain or card you buy can point at it. Starter, Pro and Premium raise the page limit if you need a second business, a personal page, or separate locations.
How the NFC tap actually works, which phones read it, where to hold the card and what to do if it goes missing.
iPhone XS and newer read NFC in the background: hold the card to the top of the phone and a banner appears. iPhone 7, 8 and X can read tags from the NFC Tag Reader in Control Centre. Most Android phones from the last few years read NFC from the middle of the back with the screen on. Any phone with a camera can scan the QR code on the card instead.
Compatibility tableOn an iPhone, against the top edge on the back, roughly where the camera bump is. On Android, flat against the middle of the back. Hold still for about a second; you do not need to tap or rub it.
On iPhone XS and newer, yes. The banner appears on the lock screen and opens your page once they unlock. Most Android phones need the screen on. If in doubt, the QR code on the back of the card works on any phone that can open a camera.
Through most cases, yes. Very thick cases, metal plates and wallet cases holding bank cards can block or confuse the reader. Move the card a little, or use the QR code.
Deactivate it in your admin in one click. Your page and links are untouched, and a replacement card attaches to the same page.
Yes, instantly, from Accessories in your admin. The chip stores a short code rather than your address, so re-pointing, renaming your page or handing the card to a colleague never needs the chip reprogrammed.
A WiseTap card is £25, bought once. There is no subscription to keep it working and the page it opens is free. Prices for keychains and stick-on tags are shown in the shop.
Yes: keychains and stick-on tags for laptops, counters and menus. They attach to a page the same way a card does, with a code, and can be re-pointed or deactivated just like a card.
Tap it, or go to wisetap.co.uk/found and type the code printed on the back. It walks you through creating a page and attaches the card to it. If you already have an account, the same code attaches the card to one of your existing pages.
Enter a card codeTap the item with your phone. The chip is programmed with a web address — on iPhone a banner shows it before anything opens. The code is the last part of that address, after /p/, /t/ or /qr/. Type that at wisetap.co.uk/found, or paste the whole link; we pull the code out.
How to read the code from the linkWhat goes on the page, how much you can change later, and what the paid plans unlock.
Links, social icons, a contact card that saves to their phone, text, video, music, documents, a map, image galleries, an Instagram or TikTok grid, press mentions, numbers, credentials, testimonials, a FAQ, a contact form and a subscribe form. Free includes eight of those blocks; Starter raises that to 20 and adds a featured block. Pro adds promo, booking and service blocks; Premium adds an AI assistant, payment and shop.
Yes, as often as you like. The card points at your page, not at a printed version of it. New job title, new phone number, new links: edit once and every card, QR, lock-screen card and signature you have ever handed out shows the new version.
Yes, from My page, then SEO and access. Your address is tap.wisetap.co.uk/yourname. Old links stop working when you change it, but cards and tags keep working because they use a code rather than the address.
On Starter and above, yes. Free pages show a small WiseTap mark at the bottom.
Custom domains are part of Premium. Every page also has a tap.wisetap.co.uk address you keep on any plan.
Scheduling (show a block between two dates) is on Starter and above. Locking a block behind an email address, so someone leaves their details to open it, is on Pro and above.
Several themes are free, each with its own layout and button style. Starter adds premium themes, dark mode, alternate layouts, a background image and a full-bleed header.
Yes, if you want it to. Public pages carry your name, title and description as the page title, description and share image, all editable from SEO and access. If you would rather stay private, put a password on the page or unpublish it; cards then show a designed not-public screen instead of an error.
What happens when someone shares their details with you, where they go, and who can see what.
They tap your card, save your contact to their phone, and on the same screen there is a short form to send you theirs. Their submission records consent and arrives in your Contacts with the card, place and moment it came from. Nothing to install on either side.
Into Contacts in your admin, and you get an email the moment someone shares their details. Pro adds CSV export. CRM integrations and a shared team inbox are marked Soon.
No. Saving your contact and leaving theirs are separate. Most people who tap will just save you; the form is there for the ones who want to be followed up.
We store it for you and nobody else. Consent is recorded on every submission, the data is never sold or used for advertising, and you can delete a contact at any time. The privacy policy has the full detail.
Privacy policyViews, taps, saves and leads, broken down by day, by card and by block, for the last 28 days on Free (longer on paid plans). Only you can see it. Your visitors are never shown who else has looked at your page.
Yes, from Settings. Your pages, contacts and insights are removed and your cards stop opening anything. If you only want a break, unpublish the page instead and switch it back on later; your cards show a not-public screen in the meantime.
Free is free for good. Paid plans add on top and never take anything away.
Yes. One page, eight blocks, unlimited chips, every free block type, the full share kit, contact forms and 28-day insights stay free. Paid plans add more pages, more blocks, themes and deeper analytics; they never take anything away.
Starter (£2.99 a month, billed annually) hides the logo, unlocks premium themes, dark mode and backgrounds, AI comment replies, 20 blocks, 5 pages, 5 short links and 90-day insights. Accessories stay unlimited on every plan. Pro (£6.99) adds locked blocks, chip redirect, contact export, 40 blocks, 10 pages, 25 short links and 365-day insights. Premium (£12.99) adds an AI assistant, a shared knowledge base, unlimited blocks, 50 pages, 50 short links and lifetime insights. Bookings, social monitor, team seats, custom domain, payments, agreements and API are marked Soon on the compare table.
Compare every featureSoon. Everything on Free works today. From Billing in your admin you can ask to be told the day paid plans open, and nothing you build now will need redoing.
No. Cards, tags, QR codes and the whole share kit work on Free. Paid plans change what is on the page and how much history you keep, not whether the tap works.
You go back to Free. Your pages, cards, contacts and existing short links stay — short links keep redirecting. You cannot create more than the new plan allows. The WiseTap mark comes back. Visitor AI chat stops. Nothing is deleted. Cancel in the Stripe portal or by emailing hello@wisetap.co.uk.
Full downgrade and cancellation termsPounds sterling. Cards are a one-off payment; plans will be billed annually when they launch.
One account for the whole team, cards that outlive job changes, and every lead in one place.
Not yet. Team seats, page templates and a shared leads inbox are marked Soon on Premium. Until they ship, each person has their own account and you re-point a card from Accessories when someone leaves.
Re-point their card to whoever takes over, in one click, from Accessories. The card in the wild now opens the new person's page. No reprint, no dead links on old cards.
A box of 500 paper cards costs roughly £40 to £120 in the UK and gets reprinted with every new hire, title change and rebrand. A WiseTap card is £25 once and edited forever. For a team of twelve that is usually a saving inside the first year.
